All is possible. Whoso list believe, trust therefore first and after preve; (Thomas Wyatt 1557)

James BarlowLead programmer James Barlow thinks that modernising the way role playing games are published is long overdue and we're confident he can develop the software solution. From the Midlands of England, James feels the clichés and stereotypes that have become established within role play games are preventing serious digital development. We believe that secretly he enjoys the music of colliery bands, museums of nineteenth century engineering and heavy industry and calls a spade a 'Spear & Jackson No.3 wit' brass embrasure'.

Over six years of software development experience using Visual Basic, HTML, ASP and XML means James is perfectly qualified to take on the technical development of CARPG. He has worked on both web applications and windows applications, illustrating his versatility and breadth of knowledge. James is also a fully qualified information security specialist, having studied his MSc in information security at Royal Holloway. Naturally his preferences when role playing are for Rogue characters, thus proving the old adage; 'set a thief…'

Playing and running role play games for over 10 years using a variety of systems, James is sympathetic to the requirements of the industry and the consumer, and his technical specifications balance the desires of both. To balance his knowledge of virtual and physical environments, James has travelled extensively, having visited much of Europe as well as Singapore, New York and Brisbane Australia. He brings this valuable experience and a PhD in sunbathing to CARPG.
