The feet of CARPG are planted firmly on the ground under the financial direction of Nigel Dixon. Married with 2 children, Nigel has to listen to and negotiate fantastic approaches to finance on a regular basis. Nigel qualified as a chartered accountant in 1972 and is a fellow of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants In England & Wales. We feel this is closer to mundane reality than most people like to get however, Nigel would argue that numbers open up the realms of 'pure' fantasy (didn't Einstein's mathematical arguments make room for the theory of multiple realities? He rests his case).

On a more serious note, Nigel brings extensive experience to CARPG, particularly at boardroom level, having held appointments as Financial Director for both UK and overseas companies. His knowledge and suitability derives from posts held in a variety of different sectors including; construction (St Gobain), Web development (Shift F7), telecoms (Telecom Access (Holdings) Ltd; Callmaster Ltd).

Never one to shy away from contentious issues or keep his head below the parapet, Nigel was involved in managing the privatisation of the Southwest region of British Rail. This illustrates a person capable of juggling diametrically opposed financial agendas and achieving a solution. Amongst his other achievements he has: Successfully raised £7m funding for a start-up company. Managed an acquisition programme of 5 strategic acquisitions in the UK and Europe over 7-month period. Facilitated turnaround of a Saudi based company from loss making to profit 12 months ahead of schedule and is now working as a consultant alongside his directorial duties.
